The Recaro Mako Elite 2 conforms to the latest safety standards according to the i-Size norm UN R129. It exceeds the high demands of the side impact protection by far. Built-in speakers in the head section, the ventilation system, an extendable leg rest as well as the pads in the shoulder area contribute to the car seats elite character.

Certified according to the i-Size standard

The comfortable child car seat has been tested and certified according to the i-Size standard (ECE R129 / 02). The new Mako Elite 2 i-Size child seat thus meets the latest and strictest safety standards. It impresses with a long service life of 3.5 to 12 years, excellent safety features and maximum seating comfort.

Parents benefit from the quick and easy installation in the vehicle by using the Isofix connectors. Thanks to the Isofix system, the seat is firmly anchored to the back seat of your car. This quick and safe positioning ensures optimal stabilisation of the child car seat in the vehicle.

Your little passenger is buckled up by using the 3-point vehicle belt. Belt positioners in red help to ensure that the belt sits correctly and that optimal safety is guaranteed.

ASP (Advanced Side Protection) - offers maximum side impact protection

The ASP (Advanced Side Protection) system offers reliable protection in the event of a side impact. The removable side wing protectors can be quickly and easily attached to the child car seat. In the event of a side impact, the energy absorbers reduce the forces that would act on your child and offer maximum protection instead. The protectors must always be installed on the door side of the car seat.

Shoulder protectors also protect your child. They ensure optimal hold and maximum safety in the event of an accident.

Smart openings on the seat’s outer shell and mesh fabric in the seat cover ensure continuous air circulation – for an excellent seating climate. Optimally adjusted to your child, the extendable leg rest provides additional support and expands the seating area. Padded side wings at shoulder height, the so-called Smart Protection Wings, automatically adjust to shoulder width for even more comfortable and safe seating.

The entertaining bodyguard Mako Elite 2 is available in two fabric designs. The Select product range is characterised by robust fabrics and bright colours. On the other hand, the fabrics of the Prime Line impress with their soft, pleasant feel and a luxurious look. The padded seat cover can be easily removed for cleaning in the washing machine at 30°C.
