Recaro Easy-Tech Security Clip

When you leave the vehicle, Easy-Tech reminds you that your child is still in the child car seat. With an acoustic, visual and haptic alarm you will be alerted on your registered smartphone.

Universal safety accessory

You can use the universal alert system with all child car seats available on the market. The Easy-Tech safety clip is to be attached to the shoulder pad of the child car seat or to the diagonal part of your car’s own seat belt.

Functionality

To activate, you need to attach the Easy-Tech with the clip to the shoulder pad or to the 3-point belt and close the accessory.

When you have arrived at your destination, the clip is to be opened for deactivation.

Recaro Kids App

The Easy-Tech alert system only works in conjunction with the Recaro Kids App. The app is available for smartphones with iOS or Android operating system. After loading the app, follow the instructions to connect your mobile phone to the accessory.

Triple alert system

If you move away from the vehicle when Easy-Tech is activated, you will receive a simple alert message on your smartphone. Activities such as taking groceries out of your car boot or refuelling your car can be done within 3 minutes – without receiving any alert message.

If you move away from the car for more than 3 minutes, an initial alert is triggered. You can turn off this acoustic, visual and haptic alarm within 40 seconds.

If the first alarm is not switched off within the specified time, the second alert is triggered. A message with the GPS coordinates of the car in which the child is located is automatically sent to pre-set emergency contacts.

Please note: The RECARO Kids app contains a package of alert messages. For every second alarm, the alarm messages are reduced by the number of emergency contacts entered. These can be bought later using the RECARO Kids app. If there are insufficient alert messages, several packages are available and bookable in the "Purchases" section of the app. If the number of alert messages is not sufficient, the system is deactivated and not functional.
